The Pilgrm

Located less than 1 minute from Paddington Station in central London. It offers free high-speed WiFi and en suite rooms with Freeview TV. Some rooms overlook the tranquil Norfolk Square.

Nice, clean, relaxed place to stay.

Nice vibe, nice, interesting decor. Lots of healthy plants. Loved that they have a water dispenser. Great to be so close to Paddington Tube and overland stations.

A bit too warm in the room. Also, I would have liked to be able to read the newspaper outside my room, but I couldn't find anywhere with enough lighting for me to read except in my room. It was too cold also to sit around reading in the dining area any time they had the door to the balcony open. Would have liked to have had vegan options on the menu.

Loved this place, would definitely stay again but would request a room with a bit more ventilation.

Stunning property, great location,staff super friendly. Bed was very comfortable, very clean hotel. Would stay again.

Unfortunately we probably got the only room with no sort of view, only an outside wall. The room got very hot in the night, even with the heater off. Maybe a fan in the room would help for ppl who might need it.

Excellent budget hotel

Beautiful and charming old building. Surprisingly quiet. Food and lovely coffee on site. Located across from Paddington which is perfect for getting to any other location.

Rooms were a bit stuffy due to their small size but being aware of this we left the window slightly open when we left and it worked well. It takes a bit of time to get extra supplies (like toilet tissue) but ask in advance and allow for the time to receive. Staff seems minimal which may be why the rooms are so affordable.

We enjoyed our time at the Pilgrim as it was central to all our activities.

Perfect location. Excellent staff and breakfast.

I didn't read carefully to see that there was no air conditioning. It happened to be quite warm. Also, there's no phone in the room. I didn't have my cell phone with me only my husband did. We managed with the fan and cracking the window.

Brief stay, chose large double which was fine and staff were cheerful & helpful solving small issue perfectly. Thumb

Yards from Paddington station. Lovely decor, helpful staff, wonderful chef and amazing breakfast.

Coldest night of the year and heating didn’t work. Lovely old day windows also let in cold draughts. However staff did provide a plug in heater which worked a treat. Double gazing will never be an option in this type of building, but perhaps secondary glazing may be an option to keep out noise & cold.

The Pilgrim provided exactly what I needed for the trip I was on.

friendly staff; easy check-in; comfortable bed; very clean; location was perfect for my needs; quieter than anticipated.

My stay was during a very unusual hot spell and I wished there had been air con in the room.

The room is clean, bed linens are fine quality, shower is great

Please take into consideration that it can get REALLY HOT. Our room didn't have air conditioner and it was unbearable. Also keep in mind that the bed is not wide at ALL. I think it's not more than 1,5m in width. It was really uncomfortable to sleep

The location and the nice staff. The room was super clean but small. It didn’t surprise us with that great location.

No air conditioning and we were there during a heat wave. The window was open and it was cool later in the evening so it worked out.

Very comfy bed. Beautiful bathroom. Gorgeous building. We didn’t use the cafe but it did look lovely. Helpful staff.

As it was a heatwave our room like an oven with only a fan and window only opened a little. When fan broke a member of staff found us a new one though very quickly late at night.

Loved the location, the decor and the old meets new quirky look. The rooms are simply furnished with lovely linen and clean and nice. Really easy walk to all the popular areas like Oxford street and Hyde Park. Will definitely come back to stay as you can also take the Heathrow Express from Paddington which is a 2 minute walk.

There was nothing we did not like.

Quirky interior design, location is excellent, free coffee and tea on each floor

Banging doors, they should have a close assist mechanism fitted. Noisy ventilation shaft from restaurant next door, but it did stop at 11.30, so not a real problem

The property doesn’t have air con in rooms. It’s a rabbit warren and very difficult to find room at first. I was on the fourth floor and the heat was unbearable, you could feel it getting hotter as you climbed the floors. The room was like an oven and very uncomfortable indeed. Needs to be bit more on the ball to areas for cleaning, lift wasn’t good. Nice area, pleasant ( young !! ) staff. Overall apart from heat issue , a decent hotel.

Beds & Linen great, fluffy towls. Even the bunk beds were great, loads of room. The room was small but really clean & great for a one or two night stay.

In the summer months it was hot as no AC but a fan was supplied and it cooled the room.

Lovely clean hotel love the pantry when we eventually found it. Nice touch with toiletries and water. We had lunch as we were early and our room was not ready. It was very tasty although a bit limited as there was a few dishes not available due to menu change the man said. The location was excellent with Paddington station literally around the corner and lots of lovely pubs and restaurants near by oh and walking distance to Hyde park which is where we were going for concert.

Very very hot in our room with only a fan. No air conditioning so just couldn't sleep.

Make sure to add the continental breakfast buffe to your stay — and don’t miss the add ons, such as poached eggs and avocado. The chef at the Pilgrm works wonders.

Since my room was a tiny one, and it lacked AC, it got really hot at night.
